Dr. Hilary Linton
Owner/Dentist
Dr. Linton has been practicing dentistry since 2013 and feels fortunate to do what she loves- helping her patients reach their personal oral health goals including maintaining and achieving a healthy, functional smile that contributes to their overall whole-body wellness.
She is a continuing education keener and is passionate about growing her scope of knowledge and skills to better serve her patients with high-quality, evidence-based treatment options. She has completed courses at the Kois Center (advanced dentistry education) and is a member of the Saanich Tucker Gold study club. Sharing her knowledge with patients so they can be advocates for their own health and lives is what really fills her cup.
Dr. Linton grew up in the lower mainland before attending Duke University on an athletic scholarship. After graduating and playing for the Canadian National Field Hockey team, she attended Boston University to receive her D.M.D followed by an elective surgical residency in Seattle. Prior to landing in Victoria, she honed her skills in Vernon, BC before the Pacific Ocean called her back to the coast. Dr. Linton couldn’t be happier to work, live and play in this idyllic part of the world.
When not at the office, Dr. Linton can be found on an adventure, spending time with the people or dogs she holds dear, breathing fresh air, listening to music (preferably live), or dabbling in one of her many hobbies.
She is a member of the Victoria & District Dental Society and BCDA.

Samantha
Licensed Dental Hygienist
Samantha is a licensed dental hygienist and graduated from the College of New Caledonia in 2011. She has worked in numerous cities and offices over her career. Samantha has a strong passion for her and her patients’ dental and overall health. She loves educating and answering questions and believes in the importance of a healthy mouth to promote overall health!
When Samantha is not at work, she is often found enjoying nature whether that is hiking, camping, biking, or paddle boarding. She is enjoys exploring the island and is always looking for local hidden gems.
She looks forward to seeing you!

Katelyn
Licensed Dental Assistant
Katelyn was born in Korea and raised on Vancouver Island. She enjoys spending time with her 3 energetic boys. Fitness, family, friends, and enjoying her cozy space at home are how she likes to spend her time outside of work.
Katelyn graduated from Camosun College's CDA (now LDA) program in 2004. She has a passion for oral health and how it relates to overall health. She has completed her ortho module and IV sedation along with other continuing education to stay on the cutting edge of the field. She enjoys the ever-changing environment that dentistry provides.
Quality dentistry and patient-centered care approach are very important to her. She looks forward to meeting you!

Since moving from Cochrane, Alberta, to the Pacific coast in 2006, Nicole has traded mountain air for ocean spray and a career rooted in wellness.
With a background in health sciences and extensive experience in legal and college administration, she brings a unique blend of clinical understanding and organizational expertise to the team.
Nicole is passionate about proactive health and thrives in environments that prioritize education and prevention. Known for her infectious positivity and "people-first" approach, she ensures the office runs seamlessly—and always with a smile.

Yogeeta
Licensed Dental Hygienist
Yogeeta (Yogi) graduated in 2022 from George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario as a Licensed Dental Hygienist. She moved to Vancouver Island in September 2024.
Yogi has always been passionate about the dental world since getting braces in middle school which sparked her interest in the field. She is a newer addition to the team here at Happy Tree Dental and is happy connecting with patients and empowering them to take charge of their dental health. Yogi’s goal is to create a comfortable and positive experience for each of you while helping you achieve and maintain optimal oral health!
Outside the office Yogi enjoys exploring the Island, cooking, and swimming. She looks forward to getting to know you and supporting your journey to a healthier smile!

Allan
(2019- 2026)
It is with great sadness that we share that Allan passed shortly after our team photos were taken. He was an OG team member since HappyTree began in the fall of 2021. Although he is no longer physically with us, it felt important to include him here. We love and miss you Allan. Thank you for the joy you brought to us all.
