Dr. Hilary Linton

Owner

Dr. Linton has been practicing dentistry since 2013 and feels fortunate to do what she loves- helping her patients reach their personal oral health goals including maintaining and achieving a healthy, functional smile that contributes to their overall whole-body wellness.

She is a continuing education keener and is passionate about growing her scope of knowledge and skill to better serve her patients with high-quality, evidence-based treatment options. She has completed courses at the Kois Center (advanced dentistry education) and is a member of the Saanich Tucker Gold study club.

Dr. Linton grew up in the lower mainland before attending Duke University on an athletic scholarship. After graduating and playing for the Canadian National Field Hockey team, she attended Boston University to receive her D.M.D followed by an elective surgical residency in Seattle. Prior to landing in Victoria, she honed her skills in Vernon, BC while enjoying the Okanagan powder and meeting her now husband Todd. The ocean called and they first moved to the Comox Valley before putting down roots in Victoria in the fall of 2021 when she bought the practice from Dr. Christine Gaucher.

When not at the office, Dr. Linton can be found on an adventure, spending time with the people or dogs (including her pup River) she holds dear, breathing fresh air, listening to good music, or dabbling in one of her many hobbies.

She is a member of the Victoria & District Dental Society and BCDA.

Samantha

Registered Dental Hygienist
Samantha is a registered dental hygienist and graduated from the College of New Caledonia in 2011. She has worked in numerous cities and offices over her career. Samantha has a strong passion for her and her patients’ dental and overall health. She loves educating and answering questions and believes in the importance of a healthy mouth to promote overall health!
When Samantha is not at work, she is often found enjoying nature whether that is hiking, camping, biking, or paddle boarding, generally with her partner in crime Allan the Dachshund. She is new to the island and is looking for local hidden gems.
She looks forward to seeing you!
Sudi

Registered Dental Hygienist
Sudi has called Victoria B.C home since 2007. She graduated from Camosun College and loves her job and being able to put her clients at ease and provide a positive dental experience. Sudi’s calm, gentle, and easy-going attitude has been welcomed by both our patients and team. Her attention to detail in maintaining high practice standards and educating clients to maintain oral health along with overall health is her top-tier goal in the office.
Aside from work, Sudi loves playing basketball, oil painting, and taking her dog- Everest on adventures.
Hope

Assistant, Admin
Hope was born and raised in Victoria, BC. She has been interested in the dental field since she was young, playing dentist with her grandmother.
Hope began working at the office as an opportunity to explore the dental field and will be pursuing a career in dental hygiene in the future. Hope helps with sterilization and admin at HappyTree and enjoys working with patients and the dental team. When Hope's not at work she enjoys relaxing with friends and family.
Lauren

Certified Dental Assistant, Admin
Lauren was born and raised on Vancouver Island. Her passions include yoga, hiking, camping, gardening, and travel. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and a Yoga Teacher. Here at Happytree Dental Lauren is part of our admin staff and assists in restorative procedures.
Her goal is to create a positive experience for all patients alongside her team.
Rebekah

Certified Dental Assistant, Admin (A/R)
Rebekah has lots of experience in the dental field and is always wanting to learn more. She works hard dealing with all the insurance paperwork and making sure everyone gets the best experience! Rebekah loves to explore different parts of BC and explore new areas.
Katelyn

Certified Dental Assistant
Katelyn was born in Korea and raised on Vancouver Island. She enjoys spending time with her 3 energetic boys and French bulldog, June. Fitness, family, friends, and enjoying her cozy space at home are how she likes to spend her time outside of work.
Katelyn graduated from Camosun College's CDA program in 2004. She has a passion for oral health and how it relates to overall health. She has completed the ortho module and IV sedation along with other continuing education to stay on the cutting edge of the field. She enjoys the ever-changing environment that dentistry provides.
Quality dentistry and patient-centered care approach are very important to her. She looks forward to meeting you!
Alana

Assistant, Admin
Alana was born and raised on the island and enjoys all that it has to offer. She is a certified Personal Trainer who loves fitness, dogs, and the outdoors. Alana graduated from the CDA program at Camosun College in 1999 and worked for 8 years before starting a family.
She's very excited to be back working in the dental field and looks forward to helping you feel comfortable and welcome at HappyTree Dental.
